Additionally, biogas (produced from wastewater treatment processes in industrial facilities or animal manure from farms) can be utilized to generate electricity, among other applications.

Biomass power generation process
- Raw water from prepared water sources is filtered to produce potable water for use within the factory, in the cooling system, and to remove minerals before being sent to the steam generation equipment.
- Biomass fuel is transported from the storage yard via a continuous conveyor belt into the combustion chamber to provide heat to the boiler for steam production.
- The high-pressure steam produced is then directed to rotate the steam turbine, which is connected to the generator to produce electricity.
- The steam that passes through the turbine still retains heat and is directed to the condenser to cool down and return to water. This water is then returned to the boiler to produce steam for reuse in the system. Meanwhile, the cooling water that receives heat from the condenser is sent to the cooling tower to dissipate the heat and is circulated back to the system to be used again.
- The hot steam and fly ash are passed through a high-voltage electrostatic precipitator (ESP) to trap the dust before releasing it into the environment.
- The ash collected in the precipitator is transported and packed into transport vehicles or sealed bags to be delivered to customers, such as in the agricultural industry for soil improvement, the cement industry, and the construction industry.
